introduced in monster hunter 3 ultimate, seen in 4 and generations, and brought back in iceborne.
it differs compared to other brute wyverns, thanks to its well developed forelimbs.
the brachidios is known for the explosive saliva on its horn and arms.
most of its attacks leave these explosive puddles.
when it explodes is indicated by its colour going from green to orange to red. After that:
the attacks it uses most often are : stomping on the ground in a straight line and leaving puddles.
sometimes, it sticks its horn into the ground, and leaving 1 big explosion. or a few smaller ones in a row.
it repositions itself by hopping to the sides.
it can also leap across the air for a big punch with a reposition jump straight after.
it can also go for a small combo, starting with a small side-punch, repositioning and another small punch.
it also makes use of the round tail smack used by rathalos and other monsters.
whilst going for a side-punch, he will swing his tail with him for damage if you avoid him throwing hands(literraly)
and there is a sub-species called the raging Brachidios.
this one is covered in much more slime and has a second fase, where he spreads the area with explosive slime.
in the video you see the second-fase transition.
